You must own the song, and/or have the right to perform, record and film the song included on the video to be included on the Songs From a Living Room website (“website”).
Videos submitted for the website will be reviewed by the website team. If accepted, we will notify you by email. If a video is not accepted, we thank you for taking the time to present your video to us (but due to the volume of videos received, you may or may not hear from us if a video is not accepted).
Songs From a Living Room website will not own your song or the video content.
Once a video is posted, an artist may request for the video to be removed by email via our “contact” link, and we will make our best efforts to do so in a reasonable amount of time.
Once a video is posted, we may remove the video at our discretion without notice.
If you submit a video, you warrant and represent that (a) all talent and persons appearing in the video (including yourself) are 18 years or older, have given consent to appear in the video and shall also be subject to our terms, and (b) you have all required consent for use of any location(s) appearing in the video.
If you submit a video, you warrant and represent that there are no uncleared samples or other infringing, illegal or offensive content included.
If you submit a video, you acknowledge that the video is non-exclusively licensed to the website and can remain on the website and be broadcast and viewed by the public via the website in perpetuity worldwide, and video and your name/image can appear in any online and/or social media promotion for the website (at website’s expense).
You have the right to promote the video and/or the website (at your own expense).
If you submit a video, you acknowledge that you are doing so on a “gratis” basis, and the website does not owe you (or anyone else) any fees or royalties.
If you are in breach of any of the foregoing warranties, you will fully indemnify the website and its principals, agents and employees from any claims and damages.
Website has the right to update its terms without notice.
Website will not be liable if there is any temporary or permanent disruption of its website by servers, hosts or hackers.
Website has the right to be assigned to a third party or other business entity.
Any legal dispute related to these terms shall be decided by arbitration in Los Angeles.
